ATTENTION, FOOD AFICIONADOS!
Ellis and Liam Barrie moved to Anglesey when their parents bought the White Lodge Caravan Park in 2009. The brothers spent a year rebuilding what was originally a rabbit-breeding shed with a menu focused on burgers and fries in order to open The Marram Grass restaurant in 2011. Today, chef Ellis heads up the kitchen and his brother Liam manages ‘everything else’. The restaurant’s reputation has expanded to food aficionados and restaurant critics. This year’s north west finalist in TV’s Great British Menu, Ellis sources 90% of produce from within 12 miles of the restaurant.
Ellis and Liam will be on stage on Tuesday 17 October.
