Alde has been shaping comfort in leisure vehicles since 1949, when Swedish inventor Alde Rask founded the company and set out across Europe to demonstrate the benefits of his Scandinavian heating system. Built on decades of specialist knowledge, Alde has grown from an innovative boiler and caravan heating concept into a trusted hydronic heating partner for the global RV industry. Today, as part of the Truma Group, Alde combines Swedish engineering heritage, family-owned values and international support to deliver heating and hot water systems designed for comfort, reliability and year-round travel.
Unlike blown-air systems, Alde hydronic central heating uses a liquid-glycol solution to distribute warmth through pipes and heat emitters throughout the vehicle. This creates a gentle, all-enveloping heat with no cold spots, warming walls, furniture and living spaces in a way that feels much closer to home central heating. The system is quiet, efficient and unobtrusive, with convectors hidden behind furniture and located around the perimeter of the vehicle to create natural convection and a protective curtain of warmth.
For end users, the result is a calmer, more comfortable environment: stable temperatures, fewer draughts, reduced condensation risk, better air quality and peaceful nights without fan noise. For OEMs, Alde offers a flexible, space-saving two-in-one heating and hot water solution, with diesel, LPG and electric options and continuous hot water capability.
