CRiS (Central Registration and Identification Scheme) is the National Register for UK touring caravans and motorhomes, linking a vehicle’s unique 17-digit VIN to a secure registered keeper record.
CRiS supports vehicle identification and police checks, providing an established record for owners and buyers. CRiS Checks also provide important vehicle history information, including whether a vehicle has been reported stolen, has outstanding finance or has been written off by an insurer.
CRiS registration works alongside VIN Chip forensic security marking, combining registered keeper information with forensic identification and theft deterrence.
