A little bit about Lola
Lola is a half-Spanish former stand-up comic who teaches, writes and swims. She bought a 1994 VW campervan – Federica – with her partner John in 2015 in preparation for researching their first book Wild Swimming Spain, published in 2016. This was followed by Hidden Beaches Spain in 2021.
