A little bit about Martin

Martin Dorey is a writer, campervan adventurer, surfer, cyclist and wild swimmer. He was awarded an MBE for his environmental beach cleaning work in 2023. Martin’s best-selling series of books, Take the Slow Road, takes readers on inspirational journeys by campervan and motorhome around the UK, France and Spain. At the NEC this October he will be talking us through his experiences while writing Take the Slow Road: Spain and Portugal during 2022. Expect mud baths, surfing pedalos, high mountain passes and plenty of useful information about taking your unit to the Iberian Peninsula! Adventure awaits.
