The Motorhome and Caravan Show is a consumer exhibition that takes place each October at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) Birmingham. 

The event is the UK’s biggest Leisure Vehicle Show taking 11 halls/ 83,936/almost 21 acres of the venue, hosting over 350 exhibitor stands and attracts over 104,000 visitors. 

The Show brings together the leading UK and European motorhome, campervan, caravan and trailer tent (not camping tents) manufacturers and dealers and the biggest accessory brands to sell their new season models and products. Campsites, tourist destinations, member Clubs, trade suppliers and related services make up the Show’s product mix. 

Competition

The closest competitor in terms of scale is the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show (also organised by NCC Events), held every February also at the NEC Birmingham. This event includes tents and camping (the October Show does not), has approx 410 exhibitor stands, takes 5 Halls of the venue and spans approx. 75,397. This exhibition attracted 108,000 visitors in 2023. 

The Caravan, Motorhome and Holiday Show which takes place in Manchester in January has approx. 80-100 exhibitors and is approx. 11,000sqm –  87% smaller than the Motorhome and Caravan Show. In 2019, the Manchester Show took place at a bigger venue (25,000sqm) and had an audience of approx. 34,000 visitors.

The Scottish Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Home Show takes place at the SEC, Glasgow each February. The show attracts 23,000 visitors and approx. 130 exhibitors.

Parking

Parking (usually approx. £16) is included in the price of the ticket. Visitors will be directed to dedicated Motorhome and Caravan Show car parks on arrival.
