Plantlife – the Global Voice for Wild Plants and Fungi.
Wild plants and fungi support food chains, are a powerful force against climate crisis and underpin all life on earth. But 2 in 5 species are currently at risk of extinction. Plantlife is at the heart of a worldwide network that is spearheading the race to save plants and fungi. Join us to tackle the greatest challenge of our times.
Founded in 1972 the Woodland Trust is the largest woodland conservation charity and a leading voice in bringing the UK’s trees and woodlands to the attention of Government, land owners and the public. With a supporter base of half a million they were the first and remain the most significant contributor to woodland protections, restoration and creation in the UK.
Helping us to conserve wild plants and fungi involves many different activities. You can volunteer with Plantlife by getting stuck into practical conservation work or by data entry and research, or even campaigning and advocacy work.Including the National Plant Monitoring Scheme, and other schemes like the Species on the Edge monitoring and surveying activities in areas like the north coast of Scotland
